The RAVES course (Regional Anesthesia, Vascular access, Epidural, and Spinal) provides comprehensive, evidence-based presentations on anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and the science of perioperative pain management. Classroom education is reinforced through individualized hands-on practice with live models and mannequins. Learning is integrated with team-based scenarios and prepares those who attend to master the fundamentals of perioperative pain management.

Continuing Education Credits

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 26.00 Class A CE credits; Code Number 1036909; Expiration Date 8/25/2019. AANA is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP #10862 for 31.2 Contact Hours. This document must be retained by the licensee for a period of four years after the course concludes.

If you are unable to attend a SPARC continuing meeting, please email your cancellation to

  • 31 days or more prior to event:  A $50 transaction fee will be deducted from the cost of the registration fee; the remainder will be refunded.
  • 16-30 days prior to event:  20% of cost will be deducted from the cost of the registration fee; remainder will be refunded.
  • 15 or fewer days prior to event: no refund will be provided because the expense of your anticipated participation has already been incurred.

By registering, individuals agree that the SPARC may photograph or record by audio/video their attendance and involvement in any portion of the meeting. Furthermore, individuals agree that the SPARC may use these photographs and/or recordings without additional approval or permission.
